A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bears to a C.

Somebody took the Bears to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.

The Boettcher reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Royer at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, the swing picks will decide whether this ages well.
