The Zak Zinter selection is the head-turner. The Bears reached 46 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

The Sturdivant pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The veteran additions, Kaden Elliss chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
