The Browns found their guy under center in McCarthy: D+.

Somebody took the Browns to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A D+ that will need time and luck to look better.

J.J. McCarthy is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They are betting Boyd proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They will answer for taking linebacker early while tight end and safety went begging.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
