Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall D-
ValueC NeedB+ TradesF FutureB-
A franchise passer in Dart headlines a D- weekend for the Seahawks.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Danny Stutsman tumbling to the Seahawks in slot 190 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Dart has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Jaxson Dart is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.

Pick Analysis
Pick14 Rnd1 Jaxson Dart
In pick 14 they get the arm they will build around, a steep price for the projection. A clean fit for the roster.
Pick27 Rnd1 JT Tuimoloau
In No. 27 they get a bendy edge with upside, though the board says they badly overpaid. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick34 Rnd2 Tyler Booker
A market-rate offensive lineman, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Tyler Booker. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick50 Rnd2 Marcus Mbow
They paid sticker price for Marcus Mbow in pick 50, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick65 Rnd3 Elic Ayomanor
A slide stopped in slot 65, with Elic Ayomanor worth more than the price. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick82 Rnd3 Omarion Hampton
The board fumbled Omarion Hampton all the way to the 82nd overall pick, and they scooped it up. It fills a real need, too.
Pick102 Rnd4 Tommi Hill
A big swing on Tommi Hill at pick No. 102, well ahead of any board in the building. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick103 Rnd4 Andrew Mukuba
Somehow Andrew Mukuba was still sitting there in the 103rd pick, and they pounced on premier safety value. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick134 Rnd4 Elijah Arroyo
Elijah Arroyo at the Round 4 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick171 Rnd5 Cam Skattebo
Taking Cam Skattebo in No. 171 is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick183 Rnd6 Ja'Corey Brooks
They talked themselves into Ja'Corey Brooks at the 183rd overall pick, and the board did not agree. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick190 Rnd6 Danny Stutsman
Danny Stutsman at pick No. 190 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick210 Rnd6 Seth McLaughlin
Seth McLaughlin at the 210th pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick219 Rnd7 Jeffrey Bassa
Steal is underselling it; Jeffrey Bassa at slot 219 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick234 Rnd7 Luke Lachey
You do not let a tight end like Luke Lachey reach Round 7, Pick 18 and blink. They did not. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
