You can hear the double-takes from here. The Seahawks took Nazir Stackhouse at Round 4, Pick 23, roughly 70 spots before his name belonged. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

Getting Giddens where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Jaxson Dart is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
