There is reaching, and then there is Collin Oliver at Round 6, Pick 34. The Seahawks jumped the board by 108 and dared it to prove them wrong. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Getting Bowman Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Whatever Jaxson Dart becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
