The 49ers let Lachey fall into their laps, and walked away with a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Luke Lachey, the No. 105 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 127th overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. They are betting Collins proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
