The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 107 spots for Phillip Webb, and value like that does not grow back.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. Winston Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
