The Commanders checked most of the boxes and earned a B.

There is a lot to like until you notice tight end is still a hole. The Commanders never got to the one that mattered most.

Henderson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. The back end got a real overhaul.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
