A costly weekend of dealing drags the Browns to a C+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Browns did exactly that with J.J. Weaver in pick 216.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

It nets out as a middle-of-the-pack haul that neither helps nor hurts much.
