The 49ers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Jacob Rodriguez, 33 picks early at the Round 4 slot.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Freeling falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
