The Bears drew a line under the quarterback search with Williams: B-.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Magee at that price is a win they earned. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
