Draft Grade — Eagles
Overall A-
ValueB+ NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureA
Grand theft in the 229th pick: the Eagles steal Mack and grade out a A-.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: King Mack, the No. 187 name on the board, stolen at the 229th pick. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They will regret leaving running back for another day if the season turns on it.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.

Pick Analysis
Pick29 Rnd1 Will Echoles
In pick No. 29 they get a run-stuffing presence up front, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38 Rnd2 Zabien Brown
A straight-up fair deal on Zabien Brown at Round 2, Pick 6, value and slot in agreement. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick61 Rnd2 Duce Robinson
Duce Robinson at pick 61 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick97 Rnd3 Keon Sabb
They barely believed it either: Keon Sabb still on the board at slot 97. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick114 Rnd4 Quincy Rhodes Jr.
Quincy Rhodes Jr. at the Round 4 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick149 Rnd5 Jayden Jackson
They did well to land Jayden Jackson in the 149th overall pick, just ahead of his grade. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick155 Rnd5 Drake Lindsey
By-the-book stuff, Drake Lindsey at the 155th pick squarely in line with his ranking. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick160 Rnd5 Desmeal Leigh
No edge and no loss on Desmeal Leigh in No. 160; it is a wash and a sensible one. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick227 Rnd7 Eli Finley
No drama and no debate, Eli Finley went about where he belonged in the Round 7 slot. The roster fit checks out.
Pick229 Rnd7 King Mack
King Mack at the 229th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick249 Rnd7 Jordan Faison
They paid sticker price for Jordan Faison in Round 7, Pick 29, and that is fine. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
