Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Steelers were there to profit. Barrett Carter, the No. 81 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 161st pick. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. Hairston has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The skill positions did well by the weekend.
