Pearsall should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a D-.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Pearsall. If Jackson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

They went 8 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
