The Broncos found their guy under center in McCarthy: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Broncos spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Isaac pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. The McCarthy pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

They went 6 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
