Draft Grade — Bills
Overall D
ValueB NeedB TradesF FutureB-
The Bills let Nussmeier fall and pounced. Final grade: D.

The Bills put a flag in the ground for Shemar Turner, 34 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. Put together, it is a D.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. That Nussmeier pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Xavier Restrepo
In slot 26 they get a true top target, and a steal at that. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick32 Rnd1 Landon Jackson
In Round 1, Pick 32 they get juice off the edge. A real need, handled.
Pick57 Rnd2 Clay Webb
Clay Webb slipping to the 57th pick is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick63 Rnd2 Kenneth Grant
Kenneth Grant in pick 63 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick64 Rnd2 Earnest Greene III
A quiet steal in Round 2, Pick 32: Earnest Greene III for less than the market said. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick92 Rnd3 Garrett Nussmeier
The board fumbled Garrett Nussmeier all the way to slot 92, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick113 Rnd4 Shavon Revel Jr.
Shavon Revel Jr. at the 113th pick nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Pick128 Rnd4 Shemar Turner
Shemar Turner in No. 128 is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick137 Rnd4 Raheim Sanders
Value with a capital V on Raheim Sanders in the 137th overall pick, a genuine coup. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick173 Rnd5 Hunter Wohler
Hunter Wohler is a better player than the Round 5 slot suggests; smart patience, rewarded. A need, and now a little less of one.
Pick179 Rnd6 Garrett Dellinger
Garrett Dellinger at pick 179 is a conviction pick that outran the value. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick200 Rnd6 Damien Martinez
A real head-scratcher, Damien Martinez in pick No. 200 is miles ahead of his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
