Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Lions never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

They will need Sweat to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They banked enough surplus on Mahogany to cover a lot of smaller sins.

They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
