The Lions won the night they stopped Tagovailoa from sliding. Grade: B.

Thirty-one other rooms let Taulia Tagovailoa slide, and the Lions were the ones holding the card at the 250th overall pick. Highway robbery. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. McClellan has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
