A solid, sensible weekend for the Lions: B.

There is a lot to like until you notice linebacker is still a hole. The Lions never got to the one that mattered most. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Beebe pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Lindberg reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
