The Packers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Charles Grant fell into pick No. 160.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
