The Dolphins left with their quarterback, and a D to match. The trade table was where it all came apart. The Dolphins shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.
Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. Fiske has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.
That Bethune pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.
