The Cowboys let Collins fall and pounced. Final grade: D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cowboys shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Broughton pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Getting Collins where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
