Larceny in pick 249 lands the Lions a D-, Wallace and all.

The Jordan Travis pick is the one that will follow the Lions into the fall. They took him 31 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want.

They banked enough surplus on Wallace to cover a lot of smaller sins. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
