Overall B

Larceny in the 169th overall pick lands the Bills a B, Barron and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bills were there to profit. Jahdae Barron, the No. 13 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 169th pick. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with linebacker the one that mattered most.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Kenneth Grant
In pick No. 30 they get a disruptive interior force at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick56 Rnd2 Shemar Stewart
Circle this one: Shemar Stewart at the 56th overall pick is a fall that decides a draft. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick62 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori at No. 62 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick109 Rnd4 Jayden Higgins
They will replay Jayden Higgins at the 109th pick for years; that is how good the value is. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick132 Rnd4 Jihaad Campbell
You do not let a linebacker like Jihaad Campbell reach Round 4, Pick 30 and blink. They did not. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick169 Rnd5 Jahdae Barron
They robbed the room for Jahdae Barron here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick170 Rnd5 Armand Membou
A top-tier offensive lineman at a bargain, Armand Membou in pick 170, plain and simple. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick173 Rnd5 Quinshon Judkins
Taking Quinshon Judkins in the Round 5 slot is close to grand larceny; a running back that good had no business lasting this long. The roster fit checks out.
Pick177 Rnd6 Trey Amos
Trey Amos in the 177th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
Pick206 Rnd6 Alfred Collins
They barely believed it either: Alfred Collins still on the board at slot 206. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
