No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Buccaneers.

It is a puzzling start. The Buccaneers had interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots to solve and reached instead for Maason Smith, a DT-EDGE, at No. 89. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Guyton falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. If Leary pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
