When a board-topper like Jaden Hicks slides to pick 129, you do not overthink it, and the Saints did not.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

If Gould pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
