Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Patriots were there to profit. Jalen Berger, the No. 206 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 232. It nets out to a B+, which feels about right.

The Patriots indulged a want in Stover while a need in edge rusher and interior defensive lineman stayed open. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. They squeezed a little extra out of every move they made.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
