The Cardinals land in the muddy middle: C+.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Cardinals shredded theirs for Nic Scourton. He came off 24 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. On the needs board they went 1 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.

Pick Analysis
Pick17 Rnd1 Nic Scourton
In pick No. 17 they get a premier pass rusher, a steep price for the projection. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
