You build a draft on nights like this. Ryan Fitzgerald had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 10, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. The cost of the Dellinger reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Not a disaster, not a triumph, just a middling class.
