The board owed the Bengals one, and it paid up: Nicholas Singleton, the No. 100 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 192 like a gift left on the doorstep. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Every board in the league had Wedig lower, and that gap is the story. The Burch pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker and quarterback still on the board.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
