There is reaching, and then there is Trey Benson at pick 51. The Packers jumped the board by 30 and dared it to prove them wrong. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. With edge rusher, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
