You could see the war room lean forward. Dillon Gabriel at the 171st overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B.

The Thornton Jr. pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
