Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall
B-
ValueB-

FutureC+
The Seahawks did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-. The rest of the league had time to spare on Wesley Williams; the Seahawks did not wait, grabbing him 67 spots ahead at pick No. 211. No fireworks, but a solid B-.
Landing Coleman that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.
Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the linebacker spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick32
Rnd1
Emmanuel Pregnon
In slot 32 they get a building block for the line at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick84
Rnd3
Connor Lew
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Connor Lew at No. 84. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick87
Rnd3
Devin Moore
Good price on Devin Moore in the 87th pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick96
Rnd3
Jonah Coleman
Jonah Coleman at the Round 3 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick117
Rnd4
Bryce Lance
A market-rate wide receiver, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Bryce Lance. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick120
Rnd4
Keylan Rutledge
They paid sticker price for Keylan Rutledge in Round 4, Pick 20, and that is fine. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick211
Rnd6
Wesley Williams
They left a pile of value on the table to take Wesley Williams this early at pick 211. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
