Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The 49ers never addressed running back, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

However the rest shakes out, Walker at that price is a win they earned. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Good work on the whole, with running back the one box left unchecked.
