Nobody else had Kingsley Eguakun anywhere near the Round 7 slot. The Packers did, by 43 spots, and that gap is the whole story.

It is not that Brade is a bad player; it is that the Packers had louder needs to answer first. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. That Johnson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
