The Ahmed Hassanein selection is the head-turner. The Eagles reached 60 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Fannin Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving wide receiver for another day if the season turns on it. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
