More right than wrong for the Dolphins, and a B- to prove it. There is conviction, and then there is this. The Dolphins took Bru McCoy a full 81 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
They banked enough surplus on Bassa to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Moore pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback and edge rusher still on the board. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
