The Giants cashed the board's mistake on Carter: A-.

You could see the war room lean forward. Barrett Carter at the 156th pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Griffith has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The veteran additions, Bryce Young chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Will Johnson and all.
