Draft Grade — Seahawks
Overall B
ValueB NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Seahawks cashed the board's mistake on Emmanwori: B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Seahawks watched Nick Emmanwori slide 31 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If Robinson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

Pick Analysis
Pick18 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
In the 18th overall pick they get a true top target, and a steal at that. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick50 Rnd2 Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori in slot 50 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick52 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
They read the board right and Jihaad Campbell was the payoff at the Round 2 slot. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick82 Rnd3 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson at No. 82 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick92 Rnd3 Charles Grant
Charles Grant in Round 3, Pick 28 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick137 Rnd4 Ty Robinson
Ty Robinson in the 137th pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. The roster fit checks out.
Pick172 Rnd5 Connor Colby
They liked Connor Colby enough to skip the value, taking him in pick 172. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick175 Rnd5 Jack Kiser
A straight-up fair deal on Jack Kiser at pick No. 175, value and slot in agreement. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick223 Rnd7 Jermari Harris
Jermari Harris at the 223rd overall pick is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick234 Rnd7 Cam Jackson
A tidy little value on Cam Jackson in pick No. 234, a step better than break-even. A need, and now a little less of one.
