Call it belief, call it a gut call, but Joe Milton III at slot 153 is 47 spots clear of consensus, and that is the headline. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. With wide receiver and tight end unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
