The Lions fleeced the room on the phones and earned a B.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Lions were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The veteran additions, Trey Hendrickson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. Horton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
