A costly weekend of dealing drags the Lions to a C.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Lions spent slot 225 on Barryn Sorrell, a name most had 90 spots down the list.

However the rest shakes out, Williams at that price is a win they earned. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

If Jihaad Campbell and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
