The steal of the weekend belongs to the Lions and Jones: D+. You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Lions did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The Jones value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
