More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B- to prove it.

Of all the ways to open, the Packers chose the head-scratcher, spending pick No. 91 on Cole Bishop with edge rusher, quarterback and other spots still wide open. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Getting McCormick where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They are betting Cephus proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
