The Patriots turned the phones into found money: A-.

There is reaching, and then there is Jason Henderson at pick 209. The Patriots jumped the board by 125 and dared it to prove them wrong. A near-flawless weekend of work, and a A- to cap it.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They banked enough surplus on Walker to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
