Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB- NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB
Loveland should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Colston Loveland had no business being available in pick 94, and the Packers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

If Gadsden II pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

Pick Analysis
Pick32 Rnd1 Landon Jackson
In the 32nd overall pick they get a premier pass rusher. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick59 Rnd2 Shavon Revel Jr.
Shavon Revel Jr. slid further than he should have, and No. 59 is lovely value for the cornerback. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick94 Rnd3 Colston Loveland
A tight end of that caliber at the Round 3 slot is the definition of value, full stop. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick129 Rnd4 Blake Miller
Blake Miller at pick 129 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick130 Rnd4 Benjamin Morrison
They liked Benjamin Morrison enough to skip the value, taking him in pick No. 130. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick133 Rnd4 Omarr Norman-Lott
Omarr Norman-Lott in the 133rd pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick163 Rnd5 Jonah Monheim
They reached into another round for Jonah Monheim, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick202 Rnd6 Davison Igbinosun
A quiet steal in slot 202: Davison Igbinosun for less than the market said. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick249 Rnd7 Oronde Gadsden II
Oronde Gadsden II at Round 7, Pick 35 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It fills a real need, too.
Pick254 Rnd7 Haynes King
A tidy bit of business in the Round 7 slot, where Haynes King graded well above the range. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
