There is conviction, and then there is this. The Falcons took Jaden Crumedy a full 31 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

That offensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They will answer for taking OLB-EDGE early while offensive lineman, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. The Coleman pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

If Laiatu Latu and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
