There is conviction, and then there is this. The Eagles took Darius Alexander a full 62 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They banked enough surplus on Arroyo to cover a lot of smaller sins. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
