The steal of the weekend belongs to the Eagles and Higgins: B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jayden Higgins had no business being available in the Round 3 slot, and the Eagles did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Reaching for Giddens left real value on the table behind him. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
